Murphy turned 7 in September and is a major Momma’s boy. He is learning to branch out more through school and loves making new friends and finding similar interests. He is all BOY! He loves Godzilla, legos, animals, monsters, dinosaurs, Transformers and cars. He is a homebody but can always be convinced to play on the tramp, run through the sprinklers and adventure with us.
Murphy is a pretty reserved guy...until you get to know him! So is learning to love his cousins, friends from class, and Aunts and Uncles. He has his few favorites that can always get a smile and laugh from him.
He does amazing in school but claims to not love it because he just wants to be home with his toys! He always has legos or toys in hand, loves wrestling Cam, creating new lego builds, sharing his knowledge with all, giving Oak a hard time and finding new cool tv shows to watch. When he loves you, he loves hard and wins hearts over left and right. He loves swimming, going to the library, and being a noisy fun kiddo!

There are few people in this world that just amaze me daily. Murphy's biologial Mom is definitely one of them. She owns this role of being a vessel for us who can not get pregnant. She included me in her pregnancy, appointments, his pre-natal care. Allowed me to be in the delivery room when she gave birth and then made sure we felt comfortable and included in the hospital- hours after giving birth! Her and Cali text as they think of each other, we follow each other on social media and support and love each other beyond measure. Murphy is just getting to the age where he understands adoption and is curious about it all the time! We have had the best conversations and love surrounding his adoption and birth Mom. We use their names weekly within our home and they are very much a part of our lives.
